The Fire Rock Project in Fountain Hills, AZ shows off our revolutionary approach. Our design concepts transformed this kitchen from a traditional style into a modern, transitional hub of the home. This $60,000 project kicked off with an in-depth consultation with the homeowners to understand their vision of a modern, spacious kitchen.

The original kitchen was confined by brown flat panel cabinets and light brown granite countertops. Our redesign involved expanding the kitchen area and introducing a flat island, thereby creating an open and inviting space. We replaced the cabinetry with white shaker and Coastal grey cabinets, emanating a more contemporary vibe. The cabinets, built on an inset box construction, rise seamlessly from the original travertine floors, honoring the home’s original character while infusing a fresh aesthetic.

To enhance the kitchen’s aesthetics and functionality, we opted for elegant white custom tall buffet cabinets with upper glass doors for the upper section. This choice not only maximized vertical space but also created a visually appealing and spacious look. Beyond looking more spacious, we extended the kitchen wall. As a result, we were able to add in three more upper cabinets alongside two cabinets and a double door stainless steel beverage cooler. Overall, these modifications increased the functional kitchen space by approximately 35%, resulting in a larger and brighter kitchen area.

The countertops were revamped with white quartz featuring grey movements, striking a harmonious balance with the new cabinets. The backsplash, a ceramic tile with a tight white and grey pattern, further enhances this modern yet cozy ambiance

The inclusion of a custom steel hood with a black patina finish stands as a striking, modern contrast, adding an unexpected yet pleasing touch to the overall design.
