Interior Design Classes at Scottsdale Community College (SCC)
As you walk into a room do you get drawn in by its beauty and the way all the elements come together? Or do you start thinking about how you can refine its style and presence? Whatever path your mind takes a journey into the world of interior design beckons.
Our Interior Design program is designed to get you ready for an entry level position or for those already in the field to move up in a specialized area and get into more competitive interior design positions.
In our program you’ll have instructors to guide you through a wide range of courses including design fundamentals, interior merchandising, home staging, kitchen and bathroom transformations, upholstery and more. You’ll study color theory and its applications, architectural and furniture history, drafting and computer-aided design (CAD) for space planning, materials that shape space, rendering, codes and regulations and much more. Barro’s Pizza North Phoenix reopens after full remodel
Barro’s Pizza, a family owned and operated pizzeria, reopened the North Phoenix location at 4030 E. Greenway Road on July 18. According to the press release, the store was closed for nearly a year and was completely remodeled from top to bottom. The new dining room has open ceilings, new floors, 3 TVs, a larger customer order area and updated bathrooms and a bigger kitchen to serve more customers with less wait time. With its modern Chicago style decor with wood and metal accents the restaurant wants to bring back the nostalgia and introduce something new. “We are excited for our customers to see the new look of Barro’s Pizza in North Phoenix,” co-owner Mike Barro said in the release. “We have been open since 1991 it was time for an upgrade! We think our customers will love the same great pizza and menu items with better comfort and amenities.”
