Showcasing a Transitional Transformation in Fountain Hills, AZ

A Contemporary Aesthetics and Traditional Shaker-style Fountain Hills Kitchen

Our Fountain Hills project epitomizes the seamless blend of different design styles, resulting in an exciting and unique kitchen transformation. This project was a fun transition, bringing together updated, contemporary aesthetics and traditional shaker-style elements.

A transitional kitchen refers to a design style that blends the comfort and warmth of traditional design with the clean profiles and understated colors typical of contemporary design. It’s an ideal balance that makes it possible to stay neutral and trendy, without leaning too heavily on a single style.

The popularity of transitional kitchens lies in their flexibility and timeless appeal. They can easily accommodate a mix of natural and man-made materials, old and new elements, and offer a broad spectrum for personalization. The design supports an eclectic mix, allowing homeowners to select details that resonate with their personal taste while maintaining a cohesive, unified look.

The ‘FireRock’ Fountain Hills, AZ project transformation began with the installation of shaker cabinets in Linen on the walls, contrasted by a striking Sage island. This island not only offers endless cabinet storage space but also functions as a central gathering spot, enhancing the kitchen’s social dynamics.

One of the highlights of this project was the use of quartz countertops with a full quartz backsplash, surrounding the kitchen. To make the Sage island stand out, we opted for a specialty marble, which beautifully showcased the wood accents like the mahogany hood and ceiling beams.

White flat panel cabinets with upper frosted glass further enriched the contrasts in the kitchen, creating a beautiful interplay with the black appliances.

Off the kitchen, we designed a custom bar complete with cabinets and space for a mini-fridge and wet bar, including a full-size wine wall. This addition further elevated the kitchen’s functionality and aesthetic appeal.

The result was an epic transitional kitchen transformation, priced around $250,000 and completed in 2023. This project underscores our dedication to creating spaces that are not only beautifully designed but also tailored to our clients’ lifestyle needs. The before and after images truly encapsulate the stunning transition from a standard kitchen into a space filled with character, charm, and functionality.
