White Shaker cabinets with Lyra Silestone and marble back splash. We stacked the cabinetry and used the backsplash from countertop to ceiling to achieve a more stunning, opulent look for a relatively small increase in price. Think: cost VS reward. The cost of a few extra cabinets and marble tiles was a small price to pay for the stunning final results.

Full Description

Every project starts with an initial design consultation. This meeting is pretty much about finding out if everyone likes everyone, and if everyone feels comfortable working with one another. Any remodel project is a war, so you’d better like the people you’re going into battle with. Otherwise you are adding stress to an already stressful situation…and nobody wants that.

We love this meeting because…well we typically like everyone…and everyone likes us. Also, it doesn’t take long to see that when it comes to kitchen design we really know what we are talking about.

Next, we get into the details of the design and the specific needs for each client and pull all of the ideas and concepts together to build a “design board.” The design board has all of the materials and colors that will eventually become your dream kitchen. Once these things are selected and compared with the overall vision, then it’s time to see that vision come to life. As you can see from the video, having this design makes it easy to see your kitchen rather than trying to imagine it using only color swatches and design boards. We can actually do a virtual walk through and see renderings from any angle…for the 1st time since you decided to remodel, you can see your kitchen…you can see that it’s actually going to happen, and it’s actually going to look the way you imagined it would. That is why showing these designs is my favorite part…every time we do it there’s that special moment when our clients stop thinking of their kitchen as a dream and see it as a reality.
